Rotten Tomatoes 100 Worst Movies What I've "Seen"
leighton
[info]panicsm12
98. Cheaper By The Dozen 2 (2005)
94. The New Guy (2002)
60. The Perfect Man (2005)
56. Because I Said So (2007)
40. Down to You (2000) don't know if i actually saw but seems like something possible
34. The Haunting of Molly Hartley (2008) like 5 minutes of it
32. Deuces Wild (2002) loved the cast, don't think i actually saw, just remember Seventeen and other teen magazines mentioning it
31. The Covenant (2006) terrible. but hot cast.
26. Kickin' it Old Skool (2007) someone made me watch the beginning, i don't remember who but i scowl at them
24. Texas Rangers (2001) never actually saw but come on a western with James Vsn Der Beek, Ashton Kutcher and Usher?? i remember this being pumped by Cosmogirl

Note: So I have to say I'm really proud of myself for having seen very few of these movies because even technically of the ones above I've only truly seen 3 all the way through. Considering how much trash I do watch. And considering the one year where it seemed every single movie I saw sucked (2007?), honestly one of the worst film years ever in my opinion whichever year it was.

Harry Potter

[info]panicsm12
I finally re-saw it. Now I will post.
I went to the bathroom when the 3 joked about Dumbledore's age I was pissed I missed it.
Harry Potter on Liquid Luck HI-LARIOUS.
The Quidditch didn't seem as random and quick as it did on the first go around.
I love Draco Malfoy.
Neville needed more of a part.
Luna was less annoying. In fact I nearly liked her.
I noticed subtle things I didn't before, like a kid looking at a naughty-wizard magazine inside a library book in the library scene.
I don't recall being that crazy hormonal at the age, but I figure I must have been.
I still cried when Harry was all devastated and being harassed by the paps in the opening few seconds.
Having re-read the book right before I saw it the first time, and having re-read the 7th before seeing it a second time I noticed things. And now I'm wondering how Deathly Hallows is going to work out. I'm very concerned by the apparent lack of Dursley's.
Did Alan Rickman get fat? Or is it just me, someone let me know.
Good use of Seamus is this film, not enough Dean Thomas (btw when the hell did he get so damn tall?)
Liked seeing Crabbe and Goyle, but again not enough talking
I need some moving staircases please.

I'm absolutely devastated with how this season is turning out so far. I did not like the way the first eviction went even though I didnt care for Braedan. But this second nomination/power of veto and upcoming eviction are just wrong. Ronnie is certainly playing the game. But his allegiances are wrong and I can't stand the fact that he's playing for the people he should be trying to get out. And because he went against his own private plan. Grrrr.

Still not going to post about Harry Potter since I have yet to collect all my thoughts, and I kind of really really want to see it again too. But I was thinking about my summer tv schedule or lack there of, which is a good thing, but I also wish all my tv was more spaced out so I didn't have 8,000 shows during the fall/winter/spring. Anyway I've sort of stopped watching True Blood because I prefer the books so much more. And I've seen the 2 episodes of 10 Things I Hate About You so far, not nearly as good as the movie but not as bad as some of the other shit ABC Family puts out. I'm still reserving most judgment but for the most part it's ok in my book. 16 and Pregnant ended which is good because I couldn't pry myself away from watching sad white-trashy girls deal with one of the most difficult things a woman can go through. Big Brother has started again which I LOVE. Been reading a lot, working and watching movies I've never seen whether bc theyre new, I missed them in theatres or just discovered them.

Another Post On The Same Day OMG

Harper's Island ended. It was awesome. I enjoyed it a lot. I love Murder Mysteries and I love ones that make me guess who the killer is. The third episode to the end sealed my suspect. And the finale two delivered. I really do like my murder mysteries. I hope the same team provides a new story, new characters and more awesomeness next summer, until then I'm looking to get my next mystery fix, along with continuing my horror.

Jake Thomas - My Thoughts
leighton
[info]panicsm12
I rarely find myself excited enough by an actor or tv show (except maybe Lost) to devote an entry singing praises. But today I stumbled across an actor from my junior high years I'd never think to give a second thought and was pleasantly surprised. Jake Thomas played Lizzie McGuire's annoying little brother, and during Lizzie McGuire's run I was far more interested in Adam Lamberg's Gordo to give a second thought to this kid. Especially considering I had annoying little brothers of my own. But his name was never forgotten, but never needed. Until today. I looked him up. And to my delight he has been working rather steadily doing one episode roles on many shows, none of which I watch regularly but I know of and have heard pleasant enough things about. So I started to track down and watch some of the episodes. And even on the shows I can't say I like he did wonderfully. I'm glad he's working, and I'm glad that he has range beyond annoying little brother. He also aged nicely, he's 2 years younger than me so as of today he's around 18/19. He looked a little like a rat when he was younger. But not anymore, which is great! Thats all. This kid is worth watching in my opinion I hope he goes on to bigger roles.
